BMW ride hailing launch in China

BMW wins the license to operate the ride-hailing service in China which in direct competition with DiDi Chuxing.

DiDi is China’s largest ride-hailing operator with 90% market share. China’s ride sharing market accounted for $30 billion in 2018 and will be growing 2X in next 2 years.

Several Chinese tech companies have tied up with American and European Automobile firms to launch Electric vehicles, Level 5 Autonomous vehicles and Ride-hailing services in China which is world’s largest automobile and Smartphone market.
