Julian Assange steps down as Editor in Chief of Wikileaks.

Wikileaks founder and Editor-in-chief Julian Assange have forced to step down due to no internet access to him from last 6 months.

Assange granted asylum in Ecuador embassy in London and he is living there from last 6 years. But from last 6 months, an internet privilege has been cut off for him.

Ecuadorian Government said in statement, they had an agreement with Julian Assange in 2017, not to issue any messages which might interfere with other states and put the Ecuador relation on the risk with other countries.

Recent comment by Julian Assange on the poisoning of the Russian double agent and his daughter leads to an argument between British government and him.

He still on the board of Wikileaks, organization said in the statement and tweet published on September 27, 2018.

Kristinn Hrafnsson” named as new Editor in Chief who was serving as spokesperson for the organization till 2016. Kristinn is an Icelandic investigative journalist and also take care of legal issues for the organization.

Assange was charged with rape case by women from Stockholm (Capital of Sweden) and registered a case against him under European laws. Swedish government wants him in the case but in 2017, case was dropped against him. But he still faces the threat of arrest to not able to comply on warrant and the bail conditions.

He also has threats from the US government official as he has published state secretes on his website Wikileaks. Wikileaks is the online nonprofit organization who publishes secret information provided by anonymous sources.

Assange has also accused of leaking the emails of Hilary Clinton campaigns from 2016 presidential election and it would eventually helped Donald Trump.

The Wikileaks founder accused Britain government that, they are under extra ordinary pressure and hence cut down my all communications passages and Britain also intends to extradite me to US for publishing the truth.  

As per few reports emerged, Russia may help Julian Assange to escape from the London but all the allegations has been denied by Russian London embassy diplomats.
